Lou Fournier Marzeles has had careers in presenting, journalism, music, marketing, and as a corporate executive, though in recent years he has focused on spiritual study, writing, and teaching. His previous book, The Promise of Purpose, established him for the first time in spiritual literature, after previous books published in the field of education. During his tenure as a newspaper editor, he was invited by the president to the White House. He is an associate in the Thornburg Center for Professional Development, a well-known education think tank. His original music has won numerous awards on both regional and national levels. His insights into purposeful use of music have been filmed for a a Master's degree program for Walden University by Canter & Associates. Lou's books in the field of education include Enlighten Up! (Foreword by Dr. David Hawkins, ASCD 2003, with Dr. Lynell Burmark) and What's So Funny About Education (Corwin Press 2003). He is a contributing author to Insights (Windsong, 2004). He is also author of The Promise of Purpose (Purpose Publications, 2003). He lives and writes in Sedona, Arizona. |
